This comprehensive developmental edit is designed for writers who have completed a manuscript and are ready to engage deeply with revision.
The process includes:
An initial conversation to discuss your manuscript and your revision goals;
An in-depth editorial letter addressing both the architecture of the work and its execution on the page, including both macro and micro elements, such as theme, structure, plot, character, voice, tone, pacing, setting, language, syntax, and more;
Line notes throughout the manuscript, responding closely to the text itself;
A follow-up discussion (by Zoom or phone) with your Author-Mentor to talk through the feedback and answer questions.
