MentorshipS & COACHING

HOW DOES the mentorship program WORK?

Apply to work one-on-one with one of our Author-Mentors through a Mentorship Program or book coaching. After reviewing your application, we match you with the Author-Mentor best suited to your project, goals, and genre, subject to availability.

If you’d like some guidance before applying, schedule a 15-minute call to talk through your project and determine the best path forward.

Our Author-Mentors include New York Times and international bestselling authors, recipients and judges of major literary awards, writers for acclaimed television series, selections for Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine Book Club and The TODAY Show Book Club, and authors whose work has been optioned for film and translated into dozens of languages. Many teach creative writing at universities across the country—and all are at work on new books.

Each mentorship session is two hours: one hour for the mentor to read up to 4,000 words, followed by a one-hour live meeting to discuss your work in depth.

SOCIAL JUSTICE COMPONENT

Because we believe that writing has the power to effect social change, we will also be donating a percentage of our fees from the mentorship programs to an organization of the mentor’s choosing, so when you are choosing your mentor, you are also choosing to support a specific organization by seeing each mentor’s choice of nonprofit.
