HOW DOES the mentorship program WORK?
Apply to work with one of our extraordinary Author-Mentors on a Mentorship Program or for general book coaching. Based on your interests and needs, we read your application and match you with the ideal Author-Mentor, subject to availability. Alternatively, if you’d like to pick our brains a bit for the best match, you can set up a complimentary 15-minute-call to determine the best plan forward for your individual project.
Our panel of authors are New York Times Bestsellers, International Bestsellers, have both judged and been nominated for major literary awards, written for popular television series, have been selections for Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine Book Club and The Today Show Book Club, had their work optioned for film, and have seen their work translated into dozens of languages. Many of them teach creative writing at universities across the country, and all of them are, of course, at work on a new book.
A single session is for two hours. One for the mentor to read up to 4000 words and one hour to meet and discuss. Click on each program below for more information.
SOCIAL JUSTICE COMPONENT
Because we believe that writing has the power to effect social change, we will also be donating a percentage of our fees from the mentorship programs to an organization of the mentor’s choosing, so when you are choosing your mentor, you are also choosing to support a specific organization by seeing each mentor’s choice of nonprofit.
