The Submission Process.

This package includes four (4) hours with your chosen mentor to prepare a pre-existing manuscript to be submitted to literary agents, magazines, or publishers. The hours will be divided between you and your mentor however you mutually deem it most useful. You will discuss strategy for submitting to agents, how to find agents, cover letters, synopses, and anything related to submission that arises from this conversation.

Based on the time, you will be able to review one or two drafts of a synopsis and cover letter. If you would like to add time to the package when complete, it will be at the hourly rate for the chosen mentor. Once you connect, we hope you will enjoy discussing the submission process with your chosen mentor over the phone, FaceTime or Zoom (or a mutually-agreed upon call service). When you email with your mentor the first time, you will settle upon your first meeting and set up your schedule.

Please note that this package does not include a reading of the full manuscript, nor does it guarantee representation with a literary agent, or require the mentor-authors to recommend or connect their agents.
